I get the following error: Unable to locate entry point for MSP430_EEM_SetClockControl2. I am using the MSP-EXP430FR5969 LaunchPad. Suggestions?

Humm; searched for an answer and did not find anything. Anyway I am running ver 6.1.3.00034. How do I update this?

Completely reloaded CCS. Error no longer exists but now the debugger is not working. None of the step functions or ability to run the program is available; all are grayed out.

If you go to 'Help -> Check for Updates', CCS will check for all available updates and provide a list in a dialog. The update you need is the one highlighted in red below:

It sounds like the Debug view is closed. Can you provide a screenshot of CCS?

OK, here is what I did. I removed all old and new copies of CCS. I turned off the computer and went to bed. In the morning I turned on the computer, downloaded the latest version of CCS, installed it; and now everything is working. Must have missed some file or trigger in the old CCS. Now, everything is running and fine.
