Verification of Checksum calculated by on-chip flash programmer in CCS

Hi,

I used the on-chip flash programmer function in CCS v3.3 to calculated the checksum for F2808 DSC. How do i verify whether the checksum calculated by the flash programmer is correct or not.

Hi,

Are you trying to validate the correctness of the checksum algorithm? If so, there was a bug that affected a few device families and is mentioned in the forum thread below:

A specific version of the compiler started including a specific checksum calculator as mentioned below:

Details of what is included in the checksum implementation are mentioned in the thread below:

If you are looking for the details on the checksum implementation, unfortunately CCSv3.3 is unsupported and therefore this information is not available.
