I installed CCS6 and want to import existing projects. CCS6 importer finds the proper directory, and offers to import some MSP430 Launchpad Lab projects that were there. However, all the project that I created are grayed out and I can't import them. Why?
Hmm - the 'edit post' function seems to be missing or well hidden.
Environment is Windows 10 / 64, target is MSP430.
The importer says "a project named XXXX already exists in the workspace" for projects that are grayed.
There is only one workspace directory and those are the projects. I am not keeping CCS5 in parallel. Why is there a problem with the name?

CCS will not allow you to import projects that already exist in the workspace. So in this case the project of name XXXX already exists in the workspace, hence you cannot import it again.
It sounds like you are opening the workspace that you created/used with CCSv5 in CCSv6. That is generally not recommended when moving between version updates. What would be better is if you open a new workspace with CCSv6 and then import all your projects into it.
