I'd like to know how to Open a terminal window (like HyperTerminal or TeraTerm) and connect to the Stellaris Virtual Serial

Port COM port.

Hello Ki,

Thank You.I am now able to use PuTTY as my Hyper terminal.

could also tell me how to configure the telnet terminal.
I tried opening telnet terminal using PuTTY but it doesnt display the required output, Hence I'm doubtful whether I configured it right.

You would use the serial connection to communicate to the virtual com port.
