Correct. C55x compiler version 4.4.2 was released mid-2014.

Sorry, I should have looked more closely at 4.4.2. You are correct, that is a Mac-only version which was produced to test the feasibility of producing Mac tools. C55x tools version 4.4.2 (Mac-only) is in fact unsupported. There are no supported C55x releases since 4.4.1 (Windows, Linux), circa 2012.

Will the C55xx tools be updated? The '5545 launch pad comes out soon - I thought maybe the tools would be updated.
