CCSv6.1.3.00034 Installation Error

Hi,

I am getting an error when I install CCS v6.1.3.00034 on my Windows 10 64-bit laptop.

This is the error message.

Could you please download the update from www.microsoft.com/.../confirmation.aspx The installation should have completed (i.e. shortcuts etc., created), if not, please rerun the installer over top of the existing installation until it asks you about creating shortcuts and launching CCS.
Please let me know if you run into any problems after applying the update.

I couldn't find the link to install the windows update "KB2999226" from Microsoft for Windows 10 (64-bit) OS.

I tried to install KB2999226 for Windows 8 x64-based Systems (www.microsoft.com/.../confirmation.aspx and it does not work. I get the error message "The Update is not applicable to your computer".

The link you provided is for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems and I get the error message "The Update is not applicable to your computer".

Sorry, I missed that! Could you please verify that all windows updates have been applied. Then take a look at the version of the 2015 32 bit MSVC redistributable and let me know? thanks

Yes all Windows updates have been applied.

The MSVC 2015 version is 14.0.23506 (refer image below)

Hi Praveen,

This problem has been fixed for the upcoming CCS v6.2.0, which should be out any day now. The issue is that your C:/TI/ directory contains some very old content that isn't handled by CCS v6.1.3.

If you do need to install CCS v6.1.3 today, then follow these steps:

Rename your C:/TI/ directory to something else, like C:/TI_orig
Create a new, clean C:/TI/ directory.
Install CCS v6.1.3.
Copy, only the content that you use, from your TI_orig folder into the new TI folder.
