Mac version of UniFlash

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Is there a mac version of UniFlash?  Will the linux version run in the mac terminal?  If not, What is the best way to flash a C2000 processor from the mac if I do not have access to the project file (it is being compiled on another machine)?

Thanks

  • Hi Neil,

No there's no version of either Uniflash or C2Prog for MAC. Though check whether loading only the .out file is possible with CCS. I've not tried that personally.

  • Neil,

The next version of Uniflash will support Mac. If you want to try it out, send me an email using the address in my profile.

  • That is great! I found that we could use "loadti.sh" in the examples directory of CCS 6.1.3. We had to edit the dsSetup.js file to handle the Mac OS. If we add this directory to our unix path we can successfully call it and flash the processor. I will try the Uniflash program as you propose.
