CCS license for trail

Hi,

We are migrating our CCS from v3.x to v6.x.

I downloaded and installed "CCS6.1.3.00034_win32.zip" on my Win7, and got connection to my target board by Blackhawk USB510 emulator.

However, the built-in free license inhibit my subsequent debugging operations.

We need to make sure that CCS v6.x can support all of our projects before buying a formal CCS.

Is there any full license for evaluation for 30 days (or longer)?

Alex,

Yes there is a 90 day full featured eval license available. If you go to Help -> Code Composer Studio licensing information. Click on the Upgrade tab and then the button to "Launch License Setup". That should give you the option to generate a 90 day eval license. If it does not just reply back and I can use some tools here to generate a license file for you. Note that there are some promotions on for CCS where you can get it bundled with a board for much cheaper. If you go to the TI eStore search for CCS-PROMO.

CCSv6-Eval-License-Dec31-2016.zipAlex,

The attached zip contains an eval license. Extract the .lic file and place it in /ccsv6/DebugServer/license or point CCS to it when it prompts for a license.
