Error Condition 0x80004005

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC1310, CCSTUDIO

Hi Team,

All of sudden after long weekend, I tried to run the firmware code that was designed or any test code provided by TI for CC1310 Development board and I started getting this error as below :

An internal error occurred during: "Launching SPI RF communication Rx side".
The function "getDebugPropertiesWithAttribute" returned an error condition (0x80004005)

Can't debug any code.

Please help.

Vikram

  • Additionally I am not even able to debug the code and it always pops up error stating "Texas Instruments XDS100v3 USB Debug Probe_0/Cortex_M3_0 : Target must be connected before loading program." even though I have rebooted my system several times.
    This all started after I ran the update that popped up in the CCS window today.

    Kindly assist.
    Thanks
    Vikram

    Can you provide details on which update this was?

    What is the version of CCS you are currently using, and with which updates? It sounds like maybe the update somehow corrupted the CCS installation. Would it be possible to do a fresh installation of the latest CCS to a new directory?

  • I got same issue after software update today.

    New log-file "C:\ti\ccsv6\install_info\com.ti.ccstudio.cc26xx.devicesupport.win32.properties" contain:

    Featureid=com.ti.ccstudio.cc26xx.devicesupport.win32
    Version=2.00.01.00
    Binary=cc26xx_device_support_2.00.01.00_win32.zip
    Installdir=..

  • I had the same issue after the update. I re-installed CCS using the original Install Wizard that I had kept in my downloads folder.
  • That's correct even I did the same stuff uninstalled and reinstalled the CCS and it started working.
    The thing I remembered was that update was for CC1310 and CC2600 and probably was to do the TI compiler version if I am not mistaken.
    Probably TI people can verify.
  • Hello,
    The update is for the CC12xx/CC26xx device support package and it should have be available for just CCSv6.2. It is not supported on 6.1.3 (or earlier). But the update was accidentally made available for earlier versions and it would break those environment. We have since removed the update. We apologize for the mix up.
