problem with CC studio 6.1 on windows 10

Hi All,

I have installed CCS6.1  on my windows 10 machine. I am running BLE stack cc26xx 2.01 for my application.

I observed my SPI driver is not working on windows 10 machine. I unable to read from SPI devices.

Same code works fine on my windows-8.1 OR windows-7 machines.

Only difference I see is the compiler version.

On win7/8 it is TI v5.2.4

On win10 it is TI v15.12.3

Is there any difference between two??

Regards

Lakshmikanth.

  • Yes, there are some significant changes between those compiler versions, but there are too many variables involved to diagnose the problem.

Please check whether the executable built on Windows 8 runs properly on the Windows 10 machine, and vice versa.

You can verify this by building the executable on Windows 8, copying the executable to the Windows 10 project, and running that. If it works, there might be a compiler problem. Next, copy the executable built on Windows 10 to the Windows 8 project. If it fails, there might be a compiler problem. Otherwise, it's unlikely to be a compiler problem.
