CCS 3.3 - Disconnect with GEL function

I'm trying to achieve the same functionality as the menu command Debug -> Disconnect with a GEL function. However I could not find a way to implement this. The GEL function GEL_RunF() does not work for me since it enters the "Free Running " and not the "Disconnected" state. Is there any solution for this ?
