CCS 6.2 will not install on Mac OSX Sierra

Hi Folks,

I cannot get either the online installer or the download installer to install CCS onto OSX Sierra. I can step through the prelimiaries and get as far as Unzipping jre_1.8.0.66c_osx.ziip ....but then I get a popup window "An error occured : Couldn't find an eclipse executable." and then I get a 'quit unexpectedly" error.

Does anyone have any work-arounds or similar?

Perhaps you are running into the issue reported in the threads below:

Hi Dave,

Please delete the contents of the ccsv6 folder and try the installation again. It looks like you had an aborted install in the folder and the installer doesn't know how to recover from it.

Yup, that fixed it. Thanks!!! My search through the forum was obviously too specific as I was looking for OSX specific things...
