CCS 5.5 error 'C/C++ Indexer'

Hello,

after successful importing a second project into a CCS 5.5 - workspace (being similar to the existing one, but renamed) in the process of editing the project single .C properties, I always get the following error-message:

'C/C++ Indexer' has encountered a problem.
An internal error occured during: 'C/C++ Indexer'.

File-property changes seem to have been accepted, but error from above comes again and again, not only when changing component properties.

Here details on my developing environment:

  • Code Composer Studio 5.5.0.00077
  • The target platform: C6747 OMAP L137.
  • C - compiler version TI 7.4.4 and DSP/BIOS 5.42.

Does anyone have an idea on how do solve this issue?

    It sounds like the project may have possibly got corrupted. I assume you've already tried importing into a new workspace?

    I'm not sure if there is a clean way to fix it but if you could send us the project metadata files (.*project) we could see if there is a way to fix or work around it. Please note that CCS v5 is no longer supported, but we will do our best to see what we can do.
