Missing Code Composer Studio Licencing Information

I recently upgraded to version 6.2.0.00050 of Code Composer Studio (Linux) from version 6.1.3 in order to pick up a fix for a defect that was causing me problems.  I ran the uninstall script and removed the ti and .ti directories.  I followed the instructions to install version 6.2.0 as a user and the install_drivers script as root.  The host system is running 64bit Ubuntu 14.04.01.  I have a floating license for version 6.x that I am trying to get setup but my install of CCS is missing the "Code Composer Studio Licensing Information" option under help on the menu bar.  I also do not see the normal text display showing whether CCS is unlicensed, using the Free License, or using a Full License.  Is this a known issue?
