CCS3.3 C6000 folder executables?

Hi,

My company is making the move from developing in CCS3.3 to CCS6.1. The tools that we have created relied on the presence of the C6000 folder in CCS3.3. In CCS6.1 those files seem to be removed from the install.

Since we do not know what is inside the .exe's that we use, it has become impossible for us to use our tools with CCS6.1.

Ideally we would love to have the source code for those files, but even a an in depth explanation of what they do would be suffice. Also if there are files that do the same thing, it would be great if we could be pointed in the right direction.

The files we call:

cl6x.exe

lnk6x.exe

hex6x.exe

Thanks in advance.

  • cl6x is the C6000 compiler. A typical CCS installation does have the C6000 compiler, but it may be in a directory you are not expecting. Try looking in <ccs_install>\tools\compiler for a directory named c6000_<version>; for example:
    c:\ti\ccsv6\tools\compiler\c6000_7.4.14
    c:\ti\ccsv6\tools\compiler\ti-cgt-c6000_8.0.3
