CCSv4 File exit.c does not exist

Thanks for your reply. It looks like just what I needed. However, I still can't get it to work. I have extracted the files from rtssrc.zip and gone into project Debug Properties and under the source tab added the source lookup path. However, I still get

File /hello/Debug/exit.c does not exist

hello is a folder in the workspace I am using and Debug is the folder containing my .out file.

It's as if the source lookup path I've added is not being used.

The lookup path added, as it appears in the Properties window is

c:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ccsv4\tools\compiler\c6000\lib\rtssrc

and I've ticked search subfolders also.

Any ideas?

Is that where exit.c is? If so, it should find it. Can you attach a screenshot of your source search paths? Mine looks like (note I installed CCS in a different dir):

You will want to use the path where exit.c physically resides. In any case you can try moving up the path so that it looks there first (though I don't know why it should make much of a difference).

If I check the 'Search for duplictae source files on the path' I get

and if I select the rtssrc folder it works. Is there a way of permanently bypassing the need to _select_ the source file?
