Problems installing CCS 6.2.0.00050

Hello,

I am not being successful at installing CCS 6.2.0.00050.

Development Environment:

Host machine:
Lenovo Laptop W530
Processor i7-3720QM CPU @ 2.60GHz
64 bit
O/S: Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1
RAM: 16 GB

Host machine device configurations:
Ports (COM & LPT): Stellaris Virtual Serial Port
Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface (COM4)
Stellaris ICDI FDU Device
Stellaris ICDI JTAG/SWD Interface

Tagret machine:
TI launchpad: EK-TM4C123GXL
Processor: TM4C123GH6PMI

I did turn off the anti-virus software, which is Norton 360.

Problems:

I am not being successful at installing CCS 6.2.0.00050.

I have tried both the on-line and downloaded versions. They both have the same following problems.

I did install all the updates

Problems:

1. Both the on-line and downloaded versions stop at the “App Center” window, clicking “Next>” has no effect.  When I click “Finish”, the installation starts and I quickly get the following error message:

“See log file C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp\ccs_9a047d6f-febe-432b-783cb104a26fde4d\workspace\.metadata\.log"

  "No AppData folder had been created in the C:\Users folder"

 

2. I then click “OK”, and start Code Composer from the short cut that has been created on my desk top.  I then get a pop-up named “Multiple problems have occurred”.

The problems are listed as follows:

CrashTrackerJob

"An internal error occurred during: CrashTrackerJob"

"Can't load library: C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\DebugServer\bin\ti_xpcom.dll"

License Acquisition

"An internal error occurred during: License Acquisition".

"com.ti.xpcom.internal.XPCOMImpl.getComponentManager()Lcom/ti/xpcom/interfaces/nsIComponentManager;"

Loading device information

"An internal error occurred during: Loading device information".

"Could not initialize class com.ti.utility.filesystem.DirectoryService$SingletonHolder"

 

3. Various functions in CCS do not work.

For example CCS will not import example projects from “TM4C123G_LaunchPad_Workshop”

4.  I have attached the most recent Install Log files: 20161119201423

Help will be greatly appreciated.
