Code Composer download the plugins(TI-RTOS for CC32xx.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3200

Hi Mitchell Kinkeade,

As you provide solution on my previous  question, you gave this link;

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC32xx_TI-RTOS .

So I pass the same is my user then he was replied me like:

this link just a wiki page for using the RTOS. The wiki page itself says

TI-RTOS for CC3xxx 2.01.00.03 has been used with CC3200 applications.

It can be installed from the link from the app center of CCS v6.0.1 “

User want this:

"Note that the TI RTOS which I am looking fo is just another add on

The problem lies somewhere in the way we request for these addons

The CCS App store should work else for every add on there will be a ticket"

it is possible to "Can a IT policy affect the working of CCS app store" ?

So can you please provide other solution.

Thanks,

Arvind Maurya

  • Arvind,

If I understand correctly, the user is having trouble installing TI-RTOS for CC3200 via CCS App Center. Is that correct? If so, what is the behavior/error they are seeing, and what version of CCS are they using? Also what is the host operating system?

As an alternative to the CCS App Center, TI-RTOS can also be downloaded and installed from
    http://www.ti.com/tool/TI-RTOS-MCU

  • Hi Arati,

Thanks for reply, but no luck.
the link -www.ti.com/.../TI-RTOS-MCU you provide is not accessible.

please see the details which you asked:
    Code composer studio version:6.1.1.00022
    OS details:Windows 7 64 bit.

    Thanks,
    Arvind

    Arvind,

There are still no details on what type of issues/errors the user is getting, but if the above link is not accessible then I suspect there are problems with getting to the internet itself. If that is the case, it would need to be worked with their IT department and is not something TI can help with. If the link can be accessed from another machine with internet access, they can download the package and then transfer and install it on another machine.
