Hi,
I'm trying to install Code Composer Studio v7.0 as being release candidate. So I will treat myself as beta tester here. I might help you.
During installation on Mac OS X El Capitan the process stops with the following message.
It is happening at the stage of installing ti.ccstudio.c2000.feature.group,com.ti.dvt2.graph.visualisation.feature.........
"In order to use the Java command line tool you need to install the Java development package first"
I sent out a report and received to following service number: 29328
Any idea?
Many thanks
Thorsten
Thorsten,
This is a known issue with the RC MacOS installer that we are working to fix before the GA release. The message appears because one of the components needs a jdk to be installed and is failing because of that.
To workaround it in the RC installer, you can install the jdk (1.8) separately. Then delete your previous installation directory of CCS and reinstall. That should allow the install to complete.
