CCS4 CPU load

Hello,

I am currently running CCS4.0.1 , BIOS 5.40.02.22, on a DM648. I am trying to get the CPU load, but the graph does not display anything. As a matter of fact, nothing on the RTA shows anything. Only ROV populates any data.

I enabled Real Time Analysis and All TRC Trace Event Classes.

One strange thing (maybe?) that I see is when I open the RTA control panel. The four vertical options have check marks on them (LOG_system, CPU Load, etc), but vertical options don't even show the check box.

Any thoughts?

Thank you in advance.

Alin

  • Hello Alin,
My first recommendation is to update your CCS version. Your current version is extremely old. However, since you are working with RTA, I would recommend updating to the latest CCSv4 version - CCSv4.2.4. There were several RTA fixes made between your version (v4.0.1) and v4.2.4. Hopefully these fixes help with your issue too:

  • Hi Ki,

Just updated to CCS4.2.4 and the BIOS is now at 5.41.10.36.

I still have the same problem.
