CCS: How to upgrade CCS

Hi,

I'm using CCS 6.2 and I've been using for more than 3 years.

Actually I'm wondering how to upgrade from V6.2 to V7.0.

Should I uninstall older version manually before installing latest version?

Does CCS take care of older version?

Usually, I uninstalled older version by myself and install the latest version.

Please let me know what is the best way to upgrade?

    Hello Baeyoung,
    You can choose to have both CCSv6.2 and v7.0 installed at the same time if you wish. Just make sure they are installed in separate locations and do not share workspace folders between them. If you wish to uninstall the old one and reinstall the new one, that is completely fine also.

    The only thing you want to avoid is installing over an existing installation, such as installing CCSV7.0 in the same location as where 6.2 is installed. That can cause problems. You always want to install CCS in a new clean location
