    I don't see this happening in my setup here - I tested this in several systems.

    I also just re-downloaded both installers from the Download CCS page and their SHA-256 checksum match with downloads I have done two weeks ago when CCSv7.x was released - this rules out any corruption in the downloaded files.

    I can't tell for sure why this is happening. Can you send the install logs that are placed in the CCS install directory?

    Hi Ralf,

    In your case, the Spectrum Digital installer is crashing. There have been other reports of this and we're trying to figure out what the issue is. If you do not need SD support can you try installing without it into a clean folder? If you do need SD support, can you install without it anyway and then we can try installing it separately (which might also help us figure out why it is crashing).

    Ralf,

    We have seen that this problem happens if Spectrum Digital debug probe support is selected along with one or both of the MSP4xx product families during installation. If you are able to install into a clean folder without having Spectrum Digital and MSPxxx selected at the same time you should be successful. We will be getting this fixed on our end ASAP.

    Hi,

    Now, I installed CCS without the Spectrum Digital drivers first and then I was able to install the SD drivers subsequently.
    The installer for the SD emupack can be found in the following zip archive within the CCSv7 offline installer:
    CCS7.0.0.00042_win32\featurerepo\binary\com.sd.ccstudio.emulation.win32_root_5.2.0.14
