HI,

I can't get CCS installed in my mac.

Tried ccs7, online and zip file, same with ccs6. Both in OSX 10.6 and OSX 10.7. I don't have any further OSX versions, but reading the ccs6 requirements, it should work.

In all cases the setup file launches, but quits with out any dialog or installation.

Is a bummer since I have a 430 and 432 underway to run two custom machines we need to build. Energia works, but I would rather work with code and the ccs tools.

Any advice would be much welcomed.

    Hi,

    CCS was not tested in the OSX versions you are using. The earliest is 10.9.

    OK, I thought it was sported by OSX10.6.1 and greater, where it was ccv 6.1.3 or greater... my mistake!

    Most of my costumers use custom legacy software in production installations: upgrades can screw everything and stop production. Is very difficult to keep up the mac pace in the hardware/software race from a production stand point. Even for our 4-5 machines none is above 10.8... and I still use a lot my old G4 17" Powebook, no longer supported, but still a workhorse... a shame!
