CCS: CCSV7 crashes when executing debug at Win10 "ccstudio.exe has stopped working"

Hi,

This happened at my first CCSV7 install and second fresh CCSV7 install. My PC specs is Lenovo Ideapad 4GB RAM Windows 10. How to solve the problem?

Markel,

There are other threads that mention the same issue as you. For now the workaround is rename the cTools.dll file as mentioned in the thread below:
e2e.ti.com/.../2064478

This looks like an issue that only happens with Windows 10 installs.

Hi desouza,

There are no cTools.dll at that folder location. There is cToolsIF.dll which I renamed. It worked.
