CCS/CCSTUDIO: Eclipse plug-in for Understand.exe from SciTools

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I have just started working with SciTools Understand tool, and it has a plug-in for Eclipse.

Has anyone used the Eclipse plug-in? If so, does it work with CCS v7, or is a previous version?

Are there features missing from the plug-in that exist in the stand-alone only version?

By the way, Understand has an excellent editor, but it is known for its Static Analysis capability.

It also does File Comparisons/Merge and Graphical analysis (call graphs).

    Hi Todd,
    I don't have much experience with the plugin so I can't comment on much the features. But I see that the plugin is supported with Eclipse 4.2 and higher. Hence, in theory, the plugin should work with CCS versions 6.x and higher.

    Hopefully others can chime in with their actual user experiences with the plugin.
