CCS/CCSTUDIO: Problems with ccsv7 install, windows 8

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I'm trying to install ccsv7 but i receive an error: 

I have disabled both the firewall and the antivirus so I don't think thats the problem. Does anyone have any input on this problem? All help is much appreciated.

    Are you using the web installer or offline installer? If using web installer, could you please give the offline installer a try?

    If that does not help, please zip up and attach the install logs here (they should be in c:\ti\ccsv7\install_logs).
