My PC can't recognize XDS560V2 emulator USB port

I am using CCS 6.131 and XDS560V2 emulator on my project. When I plugged in the emulator, my PC shows the USB port updated. But it wont pass the connection test.

I looked at my PC device manager, it shows an error on the USB port. The device status is "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (code 43)

My PC is running Windows 7.

What should I do?

Mike,

The issue you reported may mean that either the device drivers are not properly installed or the XDS560v2 is not working well.

The device drivers can be reinstalled by following several guides on the internet. One example is:

The issue may be due to the fact the XDS560v2 is in Safe Mode or is not booting properly. The references below can help you identify the status and how to recover.

If this is a Spectrum Digital, check the document below, specifically section 8.2 to identify the boot mode and section 5.4.4 and 5.4.5 to try to restore it from the safe mode.
