Where to install the license file for CCS 3.3?

Hi,

I had recently re-installed my CCS 3.3 due to some technical faults on my workstation. After re-installing everything, including the CCS3.3 Platinum version which I had bought beginning of this year, I wonder how could I activate the license. The CCS did not ask for my license file. For your information, I had retained my .lic file with me.

    Chee-Beng,

    CCSv3.3 doesn't use .lic files for licensing, only CCSv4.0 and later use license files.  If you have a .lic file it is likely from your v4 upgrade.

    The only thing CCSv3.3 had was registration and you don't need to re-register if you re-install as the registration information is associated with your MyTI account.  You should be able to just run CCSv3.3.

    I am glad that it is that easy to re-install. I was afraid it will be a evaluation copy (and thus will expire in 120 days) if I don't re-activate the license.
