Compiler: Regarding TMS34020 C/C++ compiler

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

Hello,

In one of our products we ae using display processor GSP (TMS34020).

We have a set of C files for TMS34020 that has to be built to generate out file (executable) for Windows XP OS. We also have following files:

a) GSPAC.EXE -  This appears to be TMS340 ANSI C compiler. But when I give the list of C files to compile, nothing happens.

Can you please provide any pointer to Watcom C compiler for compiling TMS34020 C code?

  • I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the Watcom compiler.

    I can tell you that the GSP compiler is GSPCL.EXE; it invokes several other executables including GSPAC.EXE

    Unfortunately I'm not able to find an online copy of the "TMS340 Family Code Generation Tools User’s Guide", SPVU020, which describes the compiler.
  • Regarding the compiler manual for TMS340 devices ... I did an extensive literature search within TI archives.  I found records which indicate this manual was once published.  But I did not find any electronic copy of the manual itself.

    Sorry for the bad news.

    Thanks and regards,

    -George
