CCS/TMS320F28335: Command Line Code gen Tool showing old version, CCS shows correct version

Hi all,

This time, i am experiencing a peculiar issue.

My Code generation tool version shows 5.1.3 in CCS V3.3 and when check the same in command line it shows V4.1.3

I recently was experimenting to move to CC6. after experiencing this issue, i uninstalled the CCS6, but was not fruitful.

Any insights from any one is greatly appreciated.

With CCS V3.3 I would find find component manager in start menu and run it as administrator. Then under compiler section tick appropriate tool, save.

I had very similar trouble with C6000. My solution was quit ccs, start component manager standalone from start menu as administrator and tick required tool.

I had one machine, where this recipe did not work. Had to manually copy newer tools into the folder where CCS was taking them from. Sorry, I have no more good ideas.
