CCS/TMDX5505EZDSP: Cannot connect to target

Part Number: TMDX5505EZDSP
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C5505

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

I just unpacked a new TMS320C5505 eZdsp stick for a class and I'm having trouble connecting and even running the basic Hello World example.

I'm using CCS version 7 (newly downloaded) and ran the check for updates. This is used on Windows 10.

I verified that the XDS 100 drivers were installed correctly (this was a check point on another thread). Screenshot of my target configuration is shown.

The output from the "test connection" is also shown below. Any suggestions? Thank you.
