CCS/TMS320C6657: Can I have 2 versions of CCS on the same machine?

Hi,

I upgraded my CCS from v5 to v6 on my windows machine, and it seems I can't go back to use CCSv5.

Is there a way to use and maintain both versions of CCS?

The easiest way is to just install each version of CCS into different root directories. I have done that with CCS 6.13, 6.2.0 and 7.0.0

Do you mean something like this c:\ti, c:\ti2, c:\ti3, etc? Thanks.

That might be to much. I have mine as

D:\TI>dir /b d:\ti\ccs*
ccsv5
ccsv6
ccsv7

Yes, but to avoid confusion I add the CCS version number into the top level directory for each install. E.g. C:\ti_ccs6_1_3, C:\ti_ccs6_2_0, C:\ti_ccs7_0_0
