Hello,
I own two EK-TM4C1294XL and one EK-TM4C129EXL launchpads. When I try to debug a project to one of them, using CCS 7.0.0.00043 running in openSUSE 13.2 (tried also in Leap 42.1 and Leap 42.2, all 64 bits flavored :)), I always get the error:
CORTEX_M4_0: File Loader: Verification Failed: Values at address 0x00007FF0 do not match. Please verify target memory and memory map.
The project I used are all from TivaWare 2.1.2.111 and TivaWare 2.1.3.156. All of them get built smoothly without problems.
I also tried CCS 6.2.0.00050 but there, whenever I try to debug a project on one of these launchpads, CCS freezes. Only a hard kill closes it.
I finally tried CCS 6.1.3.00034 where all of these launchpads work fine. Every project is downloaded into the microcontroller and I am able to debug the project.
The next step I took is to connect another debugger to one of these launchpads. I used an XDS110 from a CC2650 launchpad and configured the project to use it. Everything was fine in all versions of CCS I previously mentioned.
Does anybody know some way to make CCS 7 work with the ICDI debugger?
Thank you in advance for your time,
Ilias
I think you are encountering the same CCS 7.0 bug as described in the thread CCS/TM4C123GH6PM: Certain TiwaWare examples work on CSS v6, but not on CSS v7Ilias Chrisocheris said:I own two EK-TM4C1294XL and one EK-TM4C129EXL launchpads. The thread CCS/EK-TM4C1294XL: ek-tm4c1294xl-debug issue says the bug should be fixed in CCS 7.1.
Thank you very much for your reply. I'll wait for CCS 7.1 and try it again. In the meantime I'll stick with 6.1.3, since everything works fine there
Thank you again for your time
