CCSv4 - 4.1.3.00034 crashes computer on install

CCSv4 crashes computer on install.
Firewall and Antivirus shut off, Nothing running.
It goes to installing TI emulation, installs, changes wording to cleaning up or something and thats it.
I let is sit there while I mowed the lawn, nothing.
You get about 2 mouse clicks on anything (but nothing happens)
Ctrl-Alt-Del - nothing
Computer is frozen, shut off the power to reboot.
This is my System

XP Pro V2002 SP3
Intel Core 2
4400 @ 2.00GHz
2.00 Ghz, 2.00 GB Ram

CCSv4 - 4.1.3.00034

This is the end of the log, it just stops.

I installed it on another XP machine, Media Edition with no problems.
It runs but have not tried to use it, I want it on my computer in my workshop.

Any ideas what to try?
Any ideas on what got put into the registry(and how to get it out)?

    Hi Larry,

    Most likely there is some running process that is causing some conflict. One workaround is that you can try starting it in safe mode and installing v4 then.

    i've solved this problem yet, i tried everything but allowing KASPERSKY run in background. it was enabled for protection by me. -at the very point that we have troubles with frozen computer- kaspersky warned me about sth that was being tried to be changed by code composer and then i denied, terminated the application which was to be occured. then everthing is fine.....  i hope that'll solve your problem, good luck...

    Installed fine in the 'SafeMode' And runs in normal mode.

    Installed a demo on the chip, all is good.

    Thank you for the reply but I do not understand what 'sth' is. Is it a process??

    I would like to know what was hanging me up on this computer, as I had said before it installed fine on another computer of mine.

    My media edition version of all things. 

    Please claify what 'sth' is for me.

    As I said above I got it installed in safe mode.
