CCS/MSP430FR5969: CCS crashes on OSX Sierra

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Eclipse is crashing upon load after I added the stack usage pane to the IDE. CCS v7. Similar issue was present in CCS v6.

  Processor Speed: 1.6 GHz

  Number of Processors: 1

  L3 Cache: 3 MB

  Memory: 8 GB

    I solved the problem by:

    -saying ok to the error

    -not closing Eclipse (another window said a stack overflow occurred and eclipse needed to be restarted),

    -closing the memory browser pane, and then opening it again

    -restarting eclipse

    I did not try this in CCS v6. That version would crash upon opening.
