I have been using CCS Uniflash v3.4.100012 for close to six months now, and have made numerous test scripts using the Uniflash command prompt features.
This has been working perfectly on a Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit OS, on a Dell laptop.
My workplace has been switching us over to Lenovo laptops (still Win 8.1 Pro 64 bit OS).
For the past day, I have been trying to install CCS Uniflash v3.4.100012 on this laptop without success.
First I tried the installer exe we saved approximately 2 months ago, I think. It would not run (started a process, but never did anything. Also the process did not respond to Task Manager End Task).
Then I tried both the web version and the offline version of the installer from the wiki. Same problem with both of those.
Our IT guys have looked at my laptop, checked the event logs and could not find any details about why the exe's would not perform correctly.
So I am reaching out to the TI community.
Thank you for any advice or guidance to find the root issue with installing Uniflash v3.4.100012!
