CCS/CCSTUDIO: Code Composer Studio installation problem

Dear Sirs,

I'm encountering an error when installing V7 of the code composer studio. A system massage suddenly appears "Java(TM) Platform SE binary has stopped working", I have tried to search for the _JAVA_OPTIONS environment variable as suggested in the troubleshooting article, but i couldn't find it in the environment variables list.

OS: Windows 7 64bit

Hi Rashid,
I'm not sure what could be causing this problem, there's nothing in the install logs to indicate what happened. Could you please delete the contents of the installation folder and try the install again as admin?

Thanks for replying. I just tried installing it as an admin and the same error occurred.

Hi Rashid,

Could you try rebooting your computer? What anti-virus are you using? Could you try turning it off (also the real-time file scanning).

Hi Danish,

I tried rebooting my computer but I am still getting the same error.

I am using kaspersky TS 2017, and I tried installing CCS while turning the antivirus and its real time protection off, and I am still getting the same error.

I even tried installing CCS in safe mode while making sure that the anti virus is off, and the same error still appears.

Any other suggestions?
