Can't connect using XDS510PLUS

I'm getting:

 

Error connecting to the target:
Error 0x80002240/-603
Fatal Error during: Initialization, OCS, Control,

 

When trying to debug using XDS510PLUS

 

When I connect the emulator to the USB port LED on the emulator goes on for few seconds, and then goes off. Is this expected behavior? After that led never goes on neither when I connect it to the target board, nor when I start debugging. Does it feel like broken emulator?


I never had it working.

I _have_ downloaded updated driver from SEEDdsp.com (for CCS 4.0).

I have CCS 4.1.3

I DO see the emulator in the Device Manager (Windows XP), so I assume device has been detected, and drivers are installed.

    Does SEED provide any diagnostics tools that you can run to check the status of your emulator?

    You should contact SEED for support. They should have the answers you seek.
