CCS: Simulator mode support in CCS v7.0

Hi,

I was using CCS v5.0.3 and in the connection type Simulator support (Texas Instruments Simulator)was supported.

Due to some issue i have upgraded the CCS to version 7 and there is no support for Simulator.

Becasue of which i am not able to run the binary.

Can you tell me how to add simulator support in CCS v 7.0 ?

Santosh,

Simulators are no longer supported as of CCSv6. What device are you using?

Hi John,

I am using TCI 6618 processor.

I was using simulation mode in CCS v5.0 for optimization , due to some issue with disassembly option i moved to latest version.

But with latest version simulation mode is not suppoted.

Santosh,

I will send you a private message with some instructions, you will need to accept a friend request. In general you will need to plan for moving away from the simulator. People have figured out how to install them into new versions but the is no support available.
