Debugging w/IRQ's enabled on TMX320C5515 eZdsp USB Stick

Hello All,

Wanted to ask a question - when running the debugger with interrupts enabled, it seems to be a little unstable.  I have tried this in 'real-time' mode as well but the results seem to be the same.

I think also the usbstk lib supplied by Spectrum Digital isn't reentrant - could be the cause of some of this, maybe not,  but thought I'd mention it.

Has anyone else using the TMX320C5515 on the eZdsp USB stick experienced this?

Thanks,
johnw

  • John,

What exactly do you mean by unstable operation? Does it lose connection entirely, the code jumps to the middle of nowhere, CCS freezes momentarily...? I haven't experienced this myself, but it is surely interesting to investigate. If you have an example project we could use to test it, that would be even better.

I suggest also asking this in the C5000 forum, since people there may have a better understanding on the usbstk lib code and (maybe) workarounds to the behaviour you are experiencing.

    Cheers,

    Rafael
