CCS: "Debugger Initialization Error, Can't generate a board data file." since V7 install

Hello,

I had been using CCS V6.2, but installed the latest V7, in a separate directory (under c:\ti). Since doing so, I can no longer use a target configuration file previously working, under either versions. It used to work under V6.2, but doesn't anymore. It's never worked with V7. Attached is the error given. Please help, as this has brought me to a complete stop.

I ended up generating a new target configuration file, and it worked.

Hello,
My customer is originally using v5.x, had the same experience, and decided to stay on v5.
TI's investigation into this phenomenon is appreciated.
