What versions of CCS will support development on a C55 DSP?

We have a customer that may want some work done on existing product and would need tools.

I have CCS6.1.1 but I do no see device support for C55 if 6.1 supports this how do I get the device support files

CCSv6 does support C55x. If you made sure to select device support for it when you installed CCS, it should be there. If you did not select it, you can always re-run the installer over your existing install and add C55x support.

Also note that CCSv7 supports C55x if you wish to update to the latest version (always recommended)
