CCS/TMS320F2812: CCSv7 Getting Started and CCS App Center not working

Hello,

I installed CCSv7 about a week ago on a Windows 7 (32-bit) machine, and a couple of features that originally were working are no longer working.

1) If I click on View->CCS App Center, a blank window opens without a title (only the X is visible on the window tab)

2) If I click on View->Getting Started, a blank window opens, and I get the following error:

An internal error has occurred.
Could not initialize class com.teamdev.jxbrowser.chromium.BrowserContext


Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • UPDATE: For some reason, both the CCS App Center and Getting Started are working now. I created a new workspace, and they worked in this new workspace. But then I switched back to my old workspace (where neither were working), and now they both work there as well. So I can't explain what happened. I will post again if I lose them again.
  • Thank you for the update and glad to hear that everything is working again. At the moment, I can't explain the glitch either but do post again if the problem resurfaces.
  • It is odd. We use Jxbrowser (chromium) for both of those features. It certainly looks like we were unable to start the browser. Not sure why that would happen.
