CCS/MSP432P401R: Error loading Code Composer Studio Getting Started page

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

In a new install of CCS V 7.1.0.00014 installed on Windows Server 2016 I get this error trying to open the getting started window...

An internal error has occurred.

java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

If I click OK, close the blank window then try to open it again from the help menu I get...

An internal error has occurred.

Could not initialize class com.teamdev.jxbrowser.chromium.BrowserContext

I have a new up-to-date version of Java installed and the latest Chrome browser.

Anybody got any ideas?

    Ian,

    I saw another thread where switching workspaces seem to resolve the issue.  Another option you can try is changing the setting that controls which browser CCS uses.

    By default 7.1 uses Chromium (JXBrowser).  You could try the JavaFX browser.
