CCS/CCSTUDIO: Command Line Project Create fails with AssertionFailedException

Part Number: CCSTUDIO
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430F5529,

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hello,

We are using CCS 7.0.0.00043 for command line project create. We observe an exception during project create and message in console is as below(only first few lines):

org.eclipse.core.runtime.AssertionFailedException: assertion failed: at org.eclipse.core.runtime.Assert.isTrue(Assert.java:110) at org.eclipse.core.runtime.Assert.isTrue(Assert.java:96) at com.ti.common.project.core.OutputType.createReference(OutputType.java:109)

We have noted that this exception happens only while creating library projects (-ccs.outputType staticLibrary). There is no issue while creating application projects (-ccs.outputType executable)

We strongly believe that this issue is specific to CCV7, because we don't the see the issue with CCS 6.1.3.00034

Please let us know how to resolve this issue.

Regards,
Nijin P
