AES Key Expansion using Stellaris Cortex

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EK-LM3S8962, LM3S8962, EK-LM3S1968, EK-LM3S2965, EK-LM3S3748

I am currently working on Cryptography with AES key expansion standard. I recently purchased a LM3S8962 evaluation kit for my project work. The startup CD which came along with the board has an AES Key expansion program (StellarisWare\boards\ek-lm3s8962). Now I need two more evaluation board to develop a complete prototype.

Since the LM3S8962 evaluation kits are quite expensive I really can’t afford three such kits.

Is there any other Evaluation Kit in Stellaris Cortex series which supports AES Key expansion? What I am looking for is an evaluation kit which has a pre developed coding as an example that I could use for my application.

  • Hi sidd,

AES examples are available in the StellarisWare® software distribution for the
    following evaluation boards:
    EK-LM3S1968,
    EK-LM3S2965 (revc),
    EK-LM3S3748,
    EK-LM3S6965 (revc),
    EK-LM3S8962,
    EK-LM3S9B90,
    EK-LM3S9B92, as well as the
    DK-LM3S9B96 development board.

EK-LM3S1968 is the cheapest one; it sells for $59.
    Kind regards
