Unable to import TI-RTOS projects

Hi John,
I have similar question.
My customer installed CCS 7.x at D:\ti\ccsv7 , but they can't import TIRTOS projects in the workspace(workspace also located at D:\...).
They can't import TI RTOS project both via "TI Resource Explorer" and "Menu - Project - Import CCS Project".

Is this issue also improved on the CCSv7.2??

Regard,
Ernest Cho

  • Ernest,

I think this is a separate issue so I am going to split the thread.

  • Ernest,

What error message are they getting? Was TI-RTOS installed via Resource Explorer or just by downloading and installing?

The drive letter and install location should not impact the ability of the Import Wizard (Project -> Import CCS Project). The only thing I can think of there is that CCS has not discovered the TI-RTOS install and gives an error about missing a product when importing. That can be corrected by going to Window -> Preferences. Then in the dialog that opens go to Code Composer Studio -> Products. Check if the TI-RTOS installation is listed. If not add its location to the discover path and then click the Rediscover button to have CCS find it.

    Regards,
    John
