Hi everyone.
I've started using the TMDSDSK6713 and I'm trying to use Matlab to generate some C code. During generation I get this message.
The call to ccslink_ert_make_rtw_hook, during the entry hook generated the following error:
Error while establishing a connection to the IDE.
Caused by:
Error while connecting to Code Composer Studio(tm).
Caused by:
This version of the Embedded IDE Link does not support your
version of Code Composer Studio(TM) IDE.
The Code Composer Studio(TM) version supported in this release is 3.3.
Refer to the Embedded IDE Link data sheet
for more information on product requirements.
The build process will terminate as a result.
Is there any way I can upgrade from CCS 3.1 to 3.3?
I don't want to upgrade to CCS4 during this project so can I just go to 3.3?
If it's possible will I have to pay?
Many Thanks
Richard
Richard,
If you purchased CCS 3.1 and are under maintenance, we can get you CCS 3.3. Please submit your request using the form at
http://www-k.ext.ti.com/sc/technical-support/pic/americas.htm
This should direct it to the appropriate person who will be able to handle your request.
Thanks for the response.
Code composer studio came bundled with the TMDSDSK6713 board. Is that covered? I'm not sure if I'm under maintenance.
Thanks
Richard
Oh sorry, the DSK bundled version of CCS is not eligible for upgrade. You would need to purchase CCS 3.3.
