Possible to install CCS with eclipse folder on desktop?

I have read Customizing_CCS_Installation, but I don't understand how I can do anything nor did I find anything elsewhere.

The installer I'm trying is CCS7.1.0.00016_win32 for Windows.

    I'm not sure what exactly you are trying to do. Please clarify. Are you trying to install CCS into a folder on your desktop?

    I'd like to bring CCS's eclipse onto my desktop for easy access. Moving eclipse results in errors when starting up or closing eclipse. I was wondering if I could custom install CCS or edit a few directories in some settings to achieve this.

    Startup Errors: CrashTrackerJob, Loading Device Information, and Pre-fetch Breakpoint xml files
    Close Errors: com/ti/xpcom/XPCOMException

    That would likely not work. CCS expects a certain directory structure inside the main installation directory. Manually modifying this will cause problems. The only thing that is configuration is where the main installation directory is. That you can choose during the installation process. But everything underneath must be left alone.

    Ok, It was only for easy access and replacing my current eclipse on my desktop. Only problem is if I uninstall CCS for any reason my eclipse goes with it . Other than that I'm having a fun time programming my MSP430FR5994. Thank you for your help! :)
