CCS/SIMPLELINK-MSP432-SDK: "out of box experience GUI" not connecting in CCSv7.1.0

Part Number: SIMPLELINK-MSP432-SDK

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

My MSP432 launchpad is recognized by CCSv7.1.0 and device manager shows

XDS110 Class Application/User UART (COM4)

XDS110 Class Auxiliary Data Port (COM5) along with

XDS Class Data Port and XDS110 Class Debug Probe under "texus instruments debug probes".

The CCS v7.1.0 can successfully load the "out of box experience" example and debug. Onboard LED blinks and changes its color when switch2 pressed.

However, "out of box experience" comes with a GUI for changing the LED color and blinking rate. When I tried this GUI using Chrome and Mozilla [online - http://dev.ti.com/tirex/], it worked. At first it asked to install the TI Cloud Agent addon and after installation, it could connect the launchpad at COM4

But when I tried to open the GUI inside the CCS v7.1.0 it could not connect. It shows "connecting" to the TI cloud agent... but never connects

can anyone help me out? plz

    Unfortunately this does not work from within CCS today. Resource Explorer inside CCS is showing the same content as the one on dev.ti.com which means that this out of box GUI shows up inside CCS. The goal is to have these GUIs work from within Resource Explorer inside CCS but today they do not work.
